Level 716, also known as Purplestained Niwa, takes the appearance of a traditional Japanese zen garden that is entirely purple in colour, with small hints of white and bright pink. It is constantly set at midnight with a full moon in the sky. This level is not infinite, and is only around 700km² in size, with the edge of the level marked out by white tsuchikabe walls with wooden framework.

Scorpioformis Myceliatus, or most commonly referred to as Scorpioformis, are large scorpion-like creatures roughly the size of a large dog. Their exoskeletons consist of thick chitin, usually in dark colors and a rough texture. Scorpioformis are usually found with extensive fungal and moss-like growths along their bodies, particularly along their tail and exoskeletons.

Phenomenon 36 is believed to be a series of dreams, all sharing a similar environment and a creature. Unlike regular dreams, where only parts of the dream can be recalled coherently, victims of Phenomenon 36 can remember most of the events happening throughout the experience. Moreover, the time spent inside the dream is significantly longer than usual.
